Prices will be added as soon as the first shipment arrives in Tbilisi. Until then you can add items to your list and send it — we will let you know the price.

The tiles are fired samples from Chrysanthos. The final colour depends on the clay, the number of coats and the firing — we suggest trying a test tile first. Instructions

How to use

Shake or stir well before use; thin with clean water if needed. Brush 2–3 coats onto mid-fire bisque, alternating direction, and let each coat dry completely; a sponge also works. Glossy finish; transparent to opaque depending on the colour. The white is used as a majolica base on mid-fire bisque. Colours bleed where they touch; all colours are intermixable. Use straight from the bottle, with a sponge, or thinned with water for airbrushing.

Firing range

Cone 4 (approx. 1190°C) – Cone 6 (approx. 1220°C); some colours Cone 4 (approx. 1190°C) – Cone 8 (approx. 1260°C)

The cone is the main measure of firing; °C is approximate and depends on the heating rate. What is a cone?

Food safety

Food safe when the piece is fully covered, with no bare spots, and correctly fired.

When is a piece food safe?

Safety

Do not spray or sand dry glaze — this can release silica dust. Wash hands after use. Keep out of reach of children.
