The tiles are fired samples from Chrysanthos. The final colour depends on the clay, the number of coats and the firing — we suggest trying a test tile first. Firing range
Exact firing range to be confirmed — see the product label.
The cone is the main measure of firing; °C is approximate and depends on the heating rate. What is a cone?
How to use
For drip glazing, clean the bisque, protect the foot, and stir or shake the jar until the glaze softens. Take it up with a palette knife or fill a syringe and place thick drops along the rim; drops of different colours can be layered for mixed drips. Let it dry completely, then fire at the recommended temperature so the drops melt, run and 'freeze' into glossy drips as the kiln cools. Kiln shelves must be protected with kiln wash.
Safety
Do not spray or sand dry glaze — risk of silica dust. Wash hands after use. Keep out of reach of children.
